Somatic-Spiritual Psychotherapy & Shamanic Mediumship

is when our soul can fully inhabit every crevice of our being.

When we feel freedom and safety in being wholly ourselves.

But many of us have been taught that if we do not look / love / think / learn / behave a certain way, it is unsafe for us to exist. We develop coping mechanisms that help us survive, but hold us back from the deep joy and connection we’re here for.

And so we become disembodied - violently disconnected from our body, our emotions, and our true nature - in order to feel safe. From both a psychological and spiritual lens, it is this fragmentation of self that causes human suffering.

Embodiment

It is is our birthright to feel deeply at home in our bodies.

We are not only physical beings – we have souls, past lives, ancestors, and spirit allies – all of which play a role in the patterns of suffering we engage with in life. My work weaves all of these aspects together – so that we can experience a deeper release, a new perspective, and a lasting integration of change.

Shamanic Mediumship

In collaboration with nature, ancestors and spirit guides, I support folks remember their connection to the spirit world, and regain their soul’s sovereignty.

I offer virtual sessions for folks anywhere in the world, and half-day retreats on the land I steward in Colorado.

Equitable Pricing Model

I believe that mental and spiritual health is every human’s right. I recognise that the ‘market rate’ disproportionately impacts folks who face financial hardship, racism, sexism, ableism, etc. I use an equitable pricing model as a tool for economic and social justice, while supporting the sustainability of my own practice.

Pay it Forward

Individual Session (1h)

$200

half-day retreat (3-5h)

$600+

This supports the redistribution of resources to those that need it.

Pay in Full

Individual Session (1h)

$150*

half-day retreat (3-5h)

$450+

*This is the current market rate for therapy in Boulder County.

Pay Less

half-day retreat (3-5h)

$300+

This reduced rate supports those with limited financial resources.

  • No. But I can provide a monthly superbill for folks to submit to their insurance carriers for reimbursement. This is for individual psychotherapy services only.

  • All new clients begin virtually. In-person sessions and retreats are available as trust and fit are determined. They are held in my non-traditional space in the beautiful mountains of Golden, CO.

Half-day retreats typically range from 3-5h, depending on what we are co-creating. Pricing varies accordingly (please use my hourly rate as a reference point), and can be paid in instalments.

  • I believe in being guided by the mystery, and deeply trust the timing of each person’s integration and path. For that reason, I don’t prescribe a set number or structure for sessions.

For those seeking somatic-spiritual psychotherapy (and therefore a formal therapeutic relationship), we may work together anywhere from a few months to a few years. I look to my clients to determine what frequency meets both their psychological and financial needs, and we co-create from there.

For folks looking for spiritual work without a therapy component - I can provide individual sessions where we seek the guidance of spirit to direct our work together, and schedule session by session. Because I believe spiritual work goes along with emotional and psychological, it’s often beneficial to have a therapist to work with you around integration.

I can consult with a therapist you might already have, or I can provide brief integration sessions after our spiritual work. Neither of these are necessary though - if you’re just looking for spiritual support, we can meet you there.

  • As described by the US Association of Body Psychotherapy, it is “an expansive, emerging, multi-faceted field that affirms the inseparability of mind, body, and spirit. It draws from somatic psychology which sees the mind revealed not only in relational styles, dreams, and cognitions, but in neurophysiology, posture, gestures, movement, bodily tensions and more. It explores the therapeutic possibilities of somatic roads to the unconscious and healing while honoring the wisdom of general psychology and psychotherapy through expanding and contributing to it”

I also work with EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), an evidenced based trauma processing protocol that supports the brain and nervous system in integrating experiences that continue to be distressing for a person so that more ease can be found.

  • I combine my professional training in Shamanic Healing with practices passed down from my ancestors. As beautifully described by Susan Feathers:

“Shamanism is a method of gathering knowledge and energy from the physical and non-physical realms of nature and spirit for the purpose of healing. Shamanism is not a religion. It is a healing tradition that has formed the basis of care and support in indigenous cultures for over 60,000 years.

The basic premise of shamanism is that everything is imbued with spirit. Working in conjunction with this life-force energy (spirit) can bring about profound transformation and healing for individuals, communities, and cultures.

A Shamanic Practitioner practices the shamanic arts of retrieving our soul essence, restoring personal power that we have lost or given away, compassionately releasing foreign energy that we carry, helping the dead cross over into the afterlife, releasing the habits that we have inherited from our families of origin, clearing foreign energy from land and buildings, establishing a reciprocal relationship with spirits of the land, and reconnecting us with the inherent joy and ease of our very truest nature.”

  • Some of the mediumistic and shamanic arts I practice include:

    • Power retrieval - reuniting a human to their connection with the spirit world

    • Soul retrieval - inviting fragmented parts of the soul back into embodiment

    • Energetic entanglements - reclaiming one’s energetic sovereignty by cutting ties to thoughts, emotions, beliefs, ideas and patterns that are draining one’s life force.

    • Psychopomping - supporting the natural death process of the soul, and the continuation of their soul’s journey.

    • Curse unraveling - working with helping spirits to undo thought forms that are energetically impacting a person’s sovereignty. These are often long-standing patterns over lifetimes and generations that feel outside of their control.

    • Compassionate depossession - gently releasing foreign energy from one’s body to restore energetic sovereignty.

  • Please book a 30min Discovery Call with me so that we can get to know each other, and make sure we’re a good fit. If we’re both happy to move fowards, I’ll send you a more detailed intake form ahead of our first session.
