Rachael Collins
Commitment: one 60-minute shamanic healing session per month
About: Rachael Collins is a cisgender, autistic, queer white woman. She is a mother, a weaver and ritualist, a teacher, a somatic psychotherapist, shamanic practitioner, grief tender
and former Lead Clinical Instructor for Naropa University’s Somatic Counseling program.
Rachael specializes in utilizing body based, relational and creative approaches with folks
experiencing complex trauma and neurodiversity.
As well as mentoring other clinicians in truly taking their seat, her current area of exploration is in bridging the seen and unseen within our bodies and oppressive systems surrounding us in order to support folks in finding more integration, wholeness and integrity.
Lineage of Study: Rachael studied with Susan Feathers for three years in her Shamanic Practitioner training that pulls from Core Shamanism. She stands in the many lineages that she carries – Ashkenazi Jewish, Scottish, Irish, Polish, Russian, and German - because these ancestral lines inform every moment. She also has learned from the lands she stands on today - the traditional lands of the Ute, Arapaho and Cheyanne peoples.
